On April 8, Lions Boyce Powell (President), Rob Andrews (Youth Chair) and Bob Mooder (Past President) attended a cheque presentation ceremony at Oxbow Public School.
Accepting the cheque on behalf of the pupils is the Principal, Liz Gonser.
The Lions Club is pleased to support this very worthwhile venture, Stream of Dreams, a program designed by the Thames Valley Conservation Authority. The children of the Grade 3 Class not only participated in the presentation ceremony but more importantly in the creation of the fish mural that is located on the fence on front of the school. Take time to visit the exhibit.
The Lions Club members are committed to and welcome the opportunity to provide support, either financially or through our volunteer service, to improve the wellbeing of the young people of our community.
Through the community support of our various fundraisers, the community helps too.
