On 6 November 2016, the Ilderton & District Lions Club invited a group of people, many former Medway graduates, who have donated over $ 1000 to the Medway Athletic Enhancement Campaign.
Accepting the donations is the co-chair of the project, Lion Brad McGhie.
Major donors attending the meeting were:
Lion Greg and his wife Penny Shewfelt, Margrieta Edels, Warren Granger, Mike and Julie Radcliffe, , Gary Robinson and Dale and Marianne Donaldson.
Not in attendance were:
Roderick McDougall, Bruce and Claire Shewfelt , Karen And Jamie Crich, Ed and June Davis, , and Kelly and Mark Kennedy.
Because of their generosity, the Campaign funding is off to a great start.
Also in attendance were Liz and Dave Rempel, Medway booster club members.
