On May 10, the Ilderton and District Lions Club will be having its last wing night for this session.
It has been a huge success with participants coming from as far away as Sarnia to enjoy our delicious wings, cooked perfectly, mixed by a team of enthusiastic Lions and served piping hot, at a reasonable price with a cash bar available.
A team of Medway High School volunteers have, since our first wing night, provided an opportunity for the children in attendance to do crafts, have their face painted, etc. during the evening .
Initially the wing night profits went into a park fund which is being held by Middlesex Centre, Parks and Recreation, for a Lion’s Park in Timberwalk subdivision. Over $ 90K was deposited. Due to inflation, this fund may have to increased and discussions are occurring to see what a realistic Lion’s contribution would be.
So come out and enjoy what has become Ilderton’s Premier family oriented Friday Night event. Lets make this one the best yet.
