The Ilderton and District Lions Club have been proudly supporting this need in the community for many years. There is a special demand for blood products at this time.
They have actually increased the goal for this event to help with the increased hospital demand for blood right now, so there are around 15 additional appointments left to be filled. They have also seen a decline in attendance this summer from those who have booked appointments, so they are trying to ensure everyone knows the importance of honoring their appointment or cancelling so that we can find other donors to come out.
If you are able and available, please get out and give blood.
There will be some friendly Lions members there to meet you.
