The foundation does not fund raise. The Lions, Lioness and Leo of District A-1 donate funds to the foundation every year contributing over a million dollars since its inception in 1991.
The foundation’s most recent project was the purchase of a Surgical Vitrectomy machine for Children’s Hospital in London, Ontario at the cost of $140,000.00. This included a matching grant from Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF), of $70,000.00. This machine is used to remove cataracts from premature babies and young children.
