On Thursday night the Ilderton and District Lions 50-50 Draw was halted.
This is because the Ontario Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) disagrees with the Federal authority that LottoFactory (our site provider) says they have and allows them to run raffles across the country.
LottoFactory will contest the AGCO position.
As a result, the LottoFactory felt it prudent to immediately conclude the 64 different lotteries they were operating within the province. LottoFactory wrote to the Lions saying it was to “minimize any further exposure and potential harassment to our Affiliates”
The Ilderton Lions have no choice but to let LottoFactory and AGCO discuss the situation.
The raffle is done.
