The Ilderton and District Lions and Ilderton Firefighters joined forces to organize another community food drive in Ilderton, Denfield and Birr.
The weather co-operated again this year.
There was a good turnout of volunteers from the Lions, the firefighters and other family members.
The residents of the these communities came through again.
Over 9000 pounds of food was collected and delivered to the Ailsa Craig Food Bank, almost 1000 pounds more than last year.
We need the thank North Pole and Trim who have generously donated the use of their truck again this year. The collection could not be done so efficiently without the use of this resourse.
Congratulations to everyone who contributed to the success of this very important event.
